曾智偉
TSENG CHIH WEI

 1991年生於臺灣,畢於國立臺北藝術大學戲劇學系。現為姊弟製作團長、相信世代University Cafe駐村經理,及表演藝術自由接案者:演員、舞者、導演和製作人,演出及創作領域跨足戲劇、舞蹈及變裝。作品專注於酷兒文化探索及愛滋意識提升,透過不同媒介中身體及語言的操演,開啟多元對話的可能性。2023年於毓繡美術館創作《裂縫裡的光》獲第二十二屆台新藝術獎第一季提名,其他代表作品有:《野梅close up》、《巴黎野梅》和《Mommy Drag》。

 

2018-2020年旅居法國,學習法文及參與演出製作,遊走在不同的文化及語境之間,累積了豐富的國際合作經驗。至今參與了13個臺法共製,曾與Xavier Le Roy、Emmanuel Demarcy Mota、Pascal Rambert 和 Jean-François Auguste等知名法國藝術家合作,於法國各大城市、外亞維儂藝術節和愛丁堡藝穗節演出,並受邀駐村於巴黎市立劇院、MC93 de Bobigny、Bonlieu Scène Nationale Annecy 和 Théâtre Louis Jouvet de Rethel。

 

演出風格多變,擅於將不同的身體技巧融合至戲劇的專業養成,並於不同領域及場域創造多樣的表演語彙。臺灣的演出作品見於兩廳院秋天藝術節、臺北藝術節、臺北藝穗節、北藝開幕季、白晝之夜、臺灣美術雙年展等平台。合作藝術家領域橫跨戲劇、舞蹈、行為、視覺、聲響、多媒體、變裝等。演出場域遍及劇場、美術館、咖啡廳、公寓、夜店、街頭、線上等。

曾智偉
TSENG CHIH WEI

 Tseng Chih-Wei (b. 1991, Taiwan) graduated from the Department of Theatre, Taipei National University of the Arts, now working as the director of Sis Bro Production, the manager of artist residency of University Café, and also a freelance performing artist in theatre, dance and drag fields. As an actor, dancer, director and producer, his practice explores queer culture and raises public awareness on HIV/AIDS. Through the performativity of body and language in multiple mediums, he opens up possibilities of conversations among people with a variety of beliefs and ideologies. His work Light In The Crack (2023) was nominated to Taishin Arts Award. His other recent representative works are Wild Plum Blossom Close Up (2022), Paris Wild Plum Blossom (2020) and Mommy Drag(2020).

 

From 2018 to 2020, he lived in France to study French and participate in theatre productions. Through living between different cultures and languages, he has gained a lot of experience in international collaborations. So far, he has participated in 12 French-Taiwanese productions, working with well-known French artists such as Xavier Le Roy, Emmanuel Demarcy Mota, Pascal Rambert and Jean-François Auguste, and performed in several major cities in France, Festival Off d’Avignon, and Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and did arts residencies in Théâtre de la ville de Paris, MC93 de Bobigny, Bonlieu Scène Nationale Annecy and Théâtre Louis Jouvet de Rethel. 

 

He is capable in interpreting multiple performing art forms, and he is good at integrating various physical skills into his professional training of theatre, and creating a variety of performing vocabularies for different fields and mediums. In Taiwan, he has performed on art platforms such as NTCH Artquake in Autumn, TPAC opening season, Taipei Arts Festival, Taipei Fringe Festival, Nuit Blanche Taipei and Taiwan Biennial. He has worked with artists from different fields such as theatre, dance, performance art, visual art, sound art, media art and drag. In addition to theatre, he extended his performance to museums and alternative spaces, such as cafes, apartments, nightclubs, on the street and online as well.
